Bluefood, or Mr.Paul Rowan as the bills call him, has been furativly looping, sampling and crashing computers since his first release in 2002.Since his first gig in Thomas house, where he holed himself up in a seperate room to the audience he has sporadically appeared in public working with the likes of Spitroast records, Deserted village, Vibrator finally coming to rest in Alphabet Settings.
This summer he sounscapes 'Play 3sum',a theatre project with Dublins most cerebral theatre group Nervous System every night at the Electric picnic and again for the Dublin Fringe festival and will be playing a special underground performance of Terry Rileys " in c " with, among others, Dennis McNulty, Karl Him and members of Hair France. Bluefood was first to step up to the ABCNET releases ( check em) and there are mumblings about two mini-albumns before the falls arrival .Expect the unexpected at midnight in the Bar tent this year as Bluefood takes to the stage with a set of smirky cover versions and bouncy clip-hop groove....Think Alex Patterson thumps Bonnie Tyler but ,,, don't think too much.
