Leechrum Fest is a comin up this weekend (30/07) with over a 100 acts lined up to play - amongst others we will definetly be checking out Exile, who by all accounts blew the glade away last weekend, top oi belfast punk heads Runnning Riot and also from belfast and a recent guest to our Ice bar night Filaria. Thalamus will be reppin the ABS with a live set, and t-woc and jason rootical will be doin the reggae ting on sunday, check out the site for full lineup and more details. Flyer soon come.

Big shouts to all who made it to Glenart o'er the weekend, The Alphabet Set sets went down well with Sarsparilla playing a stormer and really blowin up the room, lots of very happy faces! Keep a ear out for the next one, the is a good chance we'll be doing it again soon with THE ORB and another session in the pipeline aswell :) In the meantime check our next monthly show in the ICE BAR, Parnell St, feat. Bit more info on Rude Awakening gig friday 13th in the Belvedere, originally billed as Rootical gig, the show will now feature a live PA from dublin hiphop heads Project 77, with djs Savage, Phatline and t-woc mashing a load of reggae, hiphop and jungle for the rest of the night, should be a right gud blast! anybody in Galway can catch the rootical soundsystem's full crew in the vic tonight. rice & peace

There will be an upload every week from now on for the forseeable future, rotating lots of livesets in the archives, next week will be Maschine live in Molloys from way back in March '03, then Herv live at Hearing Aids in December, Zod's Binray live and many more, well worth the download all of them! To anybody who was at the Glenart castle gig next day, i left a small black cube shaped box of roots reggae 7" records on the stage of the main room, while mike from tir na gasta was playing. It has a mecca sticker on one side, and a selectors choice sticker on the other. It's gone, and i would really appreciate any info on who may have picked it up accidentaly or otherwise. mick@alphabetset.net

Prince Kong and t-woc will be re re re repppin the aul alphabet set at this Glenart Castle gig in Arklow sat 12/03, in the mashed up room and back room respectivly. Rooms are all booked up but there will be tickets at the door and buses arranged AFAIK, more info at the Leechrum site.
